Hello Dolphins,

Just a few more notes and updates.

BANQUET ENVELOPES: Thank you to everyone that was able to keep up with our changes and join us for the Awards Ceremony last night. I think it worked out well. If you were not able to join us, your swimmer(s) has an envelope waiting for them with the team picture, certificate, ribbons, etc. I forgot that All-Stars will still be happening this week so one more change…

THIS WEEK, Coach Emilie will have the Banquet Envelopes with her at the All-Stars practice from 8:00am – 9:00am. So, you can meet her at the pool during that time or contact her directly to pick them up.

NEXT WEEK, I will have them at my house and they will be on my porch from 10am – 9pm. I will send out a reminder next week.

THANK YOU’s: I usually say my Thank You’s at the banquet but apparently my brain was completely fried. So, here are the people I would have thanked had I been thinking clearly.

THANK YOU to our AH-MAZING volunteer coordinators, JESSICA and EVELYN, who did an outstanding job this season. (And you all were great volunteers so thanks for making their first year easy!)

And a HUGE THANK YOU to JESSICA Johnson who is not only our volunteer coordinator but our Clerk of Course AND our amazing Social Director! She, with the help of Evelyn, has completely taken over all aspects of the social events this year and done a fantastic job. So many fun, new ideas!

THANK YOU to LAURA Coupas for all her hard work this season, taking pictures of all the swimmers and doing the team photo and the slideshow. It is a TON of work with more hours than you can imagine. And she still steps in and helps out wherever she’s needed at every meet.

THANK YOU to RHONDA Tisdall who stepped up and took on Concessions even though she was nervous about doing it. And then we added an extra meet! Sorry about that Rhonda, but you did great!

And, of course, last but certainly not least, THANK YOU to COACH EMILIE who pours her entire heart and soul into this team. Her love and passion are evident to anyone who knows her. She lives and breathes this swim team. All of the organization and fun things we see at practice and meets is the culmination of hours upon hours spent planning and preparing both during the season and in the off-season. She is the heart of this team and we are SO truly grateful to have her as our coach!

MISSING TENT: Just an FYI, for those that have asked, YES, the tent has been found! A visiting team had a miscommunication and we had matching tents so it got picked up by accident.
