Hi Dolphin Families,

Hope you all enjoyed your fourth of July holiday and got to sleep in a little bit. I wanted to touch base as this next week will feel VERY busy and I don’t think I’ll get a chance to get information out again until after Championships.

Sunday, July 7th –Teen Practice 8pm-9pm

Some teens have expressed an interests in having a night practice on Sunday (tomorrow) July 7th, as some were not able to get in the pool much this past week. This is completely optional, but for those interested, I’m happy to host a night practice for Teens 11-18yrs on Sunday night 8pm-9pm. We will begin practice after setting up the pool for prelims.

Set up for Prelims

We need help both Sunday and Monday for set up! Set up time starts at 7pm if you're able to assist one or both nights we would be grateful.

Prelims- Monday, July 8 and Tuesday, July 9

Monday is for swimmers 8 and under and 13-18 years only. A program for the meet should be sent to emails by tomorrow. Tuesday is for swimmers 9-12 years old only. A program for this meet will be sent out by Monday. Warm up is at 6:20am! Make sure you go to bed early Sunday and Monday because it’s going to be an early one.

Swim Practice

There is no practice Monday or Tuesday of prelims. Practice will resume as normal Wednesday-Friday. Anyone is welcome at practice, even if your swimmer is not attending Championships.

All Star Practice

All Star practice will begin the week of July 15th.  Practice is Monday-Friday 8am-9am.  All star practice is for any swimmer who qualified for All Stars in preparation for the upcoming All Star meet on July 20th. 

Pre-Team- No Lesson Monday

There is no pre-team lesson on Monday July 8 because of prelims. A make up practice will be offered the following Monday on July 15th!

Stroke and Turn

This week, we will do two different clinics for swimmers. Wednesday will be a regular clinic for ALL 7-10 year olds. Thursday is teen stroke and turn clinic for swimmers 11-18yrs of age. Stroke and turn clinics are optional and take place after the pool closes at 8pm each week. Please see the attached calendar for more details.

Banquet- Sunday, July 14th ,5pm

Please note the time change on the newsletter calendar. The start time for the banquet on Sunday, July 14 at 5pm.
