Hi Dolphin Families,

Stroke and Turn- Thursday June 13, 8:00pm-9:00pm

Tonight is our second stroke and turn clinic for teens.  This is exclusive to 11yrs and up intermediate to advanced swimmers only.  12 and under aged swimmers have opportunities to swim at clinics every week, where as, teens only have an opportunity every other week.  It's important we give them their time so I ask that 10 and under swimmers refrain from attending tonights clinic (even if they are advanced).  I will also not be in attendance at tonights stroke and turn clinic and instead, there will be a quest coach, Graham Beccerra.  Graham swam with Cherry Creek High School previously and was also an assistant swim coach for the Dolphins for 3 years.  They will be accompanied by our current junior coach, Lea Thompson. Lea will be there to support the 11-12 age group swimmers.  

Friday Practice for teens- 5K Friday Change

The teens expressed "great concern" over their missed practice this past Wednesday for picture day (extreme sarcasm voice).  So they have requested that we not do a 5K Friday tomorrow and instead work on relay techniques and some drills in the morning and of course.....water polo.  It was a unanimous vote so NO 5K Friday tomorrow.  We will instead have a normal practice followed by water polo.
