Hello Dolphin Families!

Welcome to the first meet of the summer. We know we have a lot of new families and our job is to help you feel welcome and learn what the heck you do during a swim meet. THANK YOU, YOU ALL ROCK! You filled positions before we could even send this email :) We want to let you know we are here if you need any help signing up or have any questions, all positions are filled except 2nd shift scribe which usually sits in the shaded officials area.

Looking to the future, the volunteer positions are open for the regular season meets; Prelims and Championships will be opened later in the season.

To see open Meets click here and scroll down to the date of the meet https://www.damwestdolphins.com/swim_meets. To sign-up, click on the meet and the job you want to do. You can try out a position at one meet and a different one at another meet. If you have limitations please let us know and we will help you pick a job that works for you. Jobs with a (*) require special training and may not be available for signing up.

We are asking that you sign-up for a shift no later than noon Friday to make sure all positions are filled on time, if you need to make a change just contact us. We are going to try out a new point system this year for volunteer positions. Each position will be worth a certain number of points, and the family with the most points at the end of the season will receive a surprise!

We will be at check in with name tags and helping mark swimmers, then floating around making sure everyone feels comfortable during this meet so if you have any questions flag us down.
