Hello Dolphin Families!

The Meet Entry and Job-Sign-Ups are now open. The deadline to sign up your swimmer is TOMORROW, Wednesday, June 22 @ 5:00pm.

Below is information from Castle Rock East. These are both large teams. Since there is no specified area assigned to us we will need to find each other and try to sit nearby.  I would aim to arrive by 7:00am at the very latest but you may want to arrive earlier to find parking.

Warm up schedule:

Castle Rock Cruisers East:   6:50-7:10

Castle Rock Cruisers West:  7:10-7:30

Dam West:   7:30 – 7:50

Parking:

Both parking lots near the pool (only half of the big lot is available) and the elementary parking lot adjacent to the pool are available. You can park on the entrance street to the pool on the entrance side, NOT ON THE EXIT SIDE. Obey all NO PARKING signs and you will be fine. If you park in neighborhoods, please be respectful of driveways.

Team Set Up:

Due to the construction at Butterfield Park, there is limited space for families to set up. We are not designating home/visitors seating areas, but we will not allow any pop ups or chairs between the pool and the bleachers in the fenced area. Families may set up in any open spot, please keep sidewalks clear.

Concessions:

We will have a food truck selling breakfast items in the morning and lunch choices towards the afternoon. 

Meet specifics:

We run a carded meet and will do combinations "on the fly", so let your parents know the meet program that is sent out may be modified to combine heats to make the meet run faster and accommodate last minute scratches and adds. Remind swimmers to pick up their card before each event and let them know there will be ONE card for each relay team.

Please ask swimmers to NOT tear the corners off the cards and put them in their suits – it is hard on the pool system.

The baby pool is not open during the swim meet.

Volunteers, timing and coach's relay:

We prefer to have our shift change after event 48 as there is a natural break with change from back to breast and timers have to move for 25’s. We will let the coaches decide if they would like to do a coach relay at that time or at the end of the meet (having the coaches race in the middle usually means more swimmers get to see it).
