Meet Program & Info for TOMORROW'S MEET

    Hello Dolphin Families!

Attached you will find the Meet Program and Individual Entry List. Each team has their own way of showing the combined events. For Hills West they list it on the line just underneath the Event # and name. I’ve attached a highlighted example.

As always you can use our “Meet Preparation” page to help you pack for an away meet.

Bring Shade!  Hills West has a huge grassy area outside of the pool deck so there will be plenty of space to set up. Since we do not have an assigned area please try to sit together so we know where to find all the swimmers. There is a tiny bit of shade but most of the area is open so bring tents, canopies, umbrellas, whatever you have for shade.

Arrival Time: Because this is a tri-meet and our warm-up time is a bit earlier, please plan to arrive by 6:35 am to park, walk in, set up and have your swimmer ready to warm-up by 7:10am.

The Hills West Pool is located at:

    10458 E. Crestline Pl., Englewood, CO 80111

The pool is located just inside the Hills at Cherry Creek West neighborhood, off of Havana St. You may enter the neighborhood from Havana St. or Belleview Ave.

    Warm Up Times:

    Hills West Waves: 6:50am – 7:10am

    Dam West: 7:10am - 7:30am

    Castle Rock Cruisers East: 7:30am - 7:50am

Given this warm up schedule, there will be no time for one-way starts so make sure your coaches are aware and plan accordingly for their warm ups.

Our start time will be 8:00am

    Parking:

There is very limited space available in our small parking lot except for 2 reserved spaces, one for a Parent Rep from each team. There is no parking on either side of the curved median directly in front of the pool entrance to Havana St., as this is the entrance to the neighborhood and these homes will have cars ticketed. I will put out cones as a reminder for cars not to park there. You may park along the streets throughout the Hills West neighborhood. Please do not block driveways. There also is parking along both sides of Havana Street in front of the pool.

    Concessions:

Breakfast burritos, fruit, hot dogs and hamburgers will be available for purchase as well as water, coffee, soda, assorted beverages and a large variety of other meal items and snacks. We accept cash only.

    Team Set-Up:

    • Your swimmers and families can set up in the park right outside of the pool fence, to the South of the starting blocks.
    • We ask there be no deck seating and to keep the pool deck for standing spectators only. The only exception is that each team may set up a shade canopy for coaches along the side of the pool, we will have chairs set up for coaches.
    • We are using the Dolphin Timing System. We will have three Dolphin timers and one stopwatch for each lane.
    • We will hold the Timer and Officials Meetings around 7:30am.
    • There will be a table set up just inside the front entrance of the pool for your Volunteer Coordinators.

Meet Programs: Meet programs will not be for sale, we will have a copy posted at the pool. Families should print out the meet program if they would like a hard copy. We will provide meet programs to: Coaches (6 per team); Stroke & Turn Judges, Heating, Each Lane, Order of Finish, DQ Scribes, Meet Ref, Deck Ref, Starter, and Announcer.

Photos: Our team photographer will not be able to attend the meet so she would be grateful to anyone who is able to take photos. Action shots. Group shots. Family shots. Having fun, swimming, goofying around, waiting in heating, etc.
