    Meet Results for 6/11/22

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR DOLPHINS ON THEIR BIG WIN TODAY!

That was an amazing meet! A HUGE THANK YOU to all of our volunteers! Everyone did a great job and really stepped up. From Friday Setup to the Heating Area to Concessions and to Cleaning up after – THANK YOU! It was an incredibly smooth meet.

And a special shout out to our brand new officials team: Jaime Samudio, Anthony Hornback and Todd Becerra - you all did awesome!! You had some big shoes to fill today and I know Tim & Dick would be very proud of you all. Sandra Kelly, Meet Manager extraordinaire, did a great job combining events and all of you kept the tradition alive and shaved 40 minutes off the meet!

MEET RESULTS: The Meet Results and Individual Results are attached. It was SOOO close and came down to those final relays. Way to rock it, Dam West!!!

    Dam West 325

    Castle Rock West 315

    Hills West 301

To see how your swimmer(s) did look at the Individuals Result Sheets. To figure out how to read them go to the “How To Read Individual Results” page under the “Meet Information” tab.

OK, you know my favorite part is that little * that means someone beat their own best time. (For new swimmers and new events, now you have a time to beat!) Check out that Individual Results sheet. Almost every single swimmer beat their own best time in at least one event! Some beat their own times in EVERY event! And for most of them, if they don’t have a * it’s because they didn’t have a time to beat yet. GREAT JOB!

ALL-STARS: Congratulations to some of our All-Stars for qualifying in even more events and to our newest All-Star, Pilot Horst!  (For more information on what “All-Stars” are, you can see our “All-Stars” page.)

Coach Gabby Robinson (17) – 50 Free and 200 IM

    Pilot Horst (14) – 200 Free, 100 Fly and 100 Free

Jr. Coach Eric Kelly (16) – 50 Free and 100 Fly

    Dez Norwood (8) – 25 Free and 50 Free

    Lea Thompson (13) – 100 Fly and 100 Free

AWARDS: There is a gray file folder box that will be somewhere in the back area near the baby pool. Every family has a folder where we will put any earned ribbons and “dolphin dollars.” The ribbon box will be out during morning practices starting on Monday. PLEASE HAVE YOUR SWIMMER DRY THEIR HANDS BEFORE GETTING THEIR RIBBONS! Or better yet, parents, you can do the honors – as long as your hands are dry, of course. 😊

NEXT MEET: Our next meet is an Away Tri-Meet, June 18. Hills West will be hosting Dam West and Castle Rock East. The Meet Entry is open so feel free to mark your swimmer(s) as “attending” or “not attending” if you already know that. I am still working on the Job Sign-Ups but should have that available soon.

I hope everyone had fun today!  That was a GREAT meet!  Enjoy enjoy the rest of your weekend and CONGRATS again!  We’ll see you at practice on Monday.
