Mark your calendars for our first ever “Mock Meet” welcome event! We have lots of new families this year and our goal is to take some of the mystery out of Swim Meets.

The event is specifically designed for new families but we need help from returning families too! Our goal is to help our new families meet and connect with our returning families. Plus, we need some returning kiddos to be volunteers and help us do some demonstrations.  (Just on land.  They won't be getting in the water.)

We will be introducing key people, doing a slideshow presentation as well as a walking tour of the pool area and live examples. We will be covering topics such as:

• An overview of meets
• Who to ask for help
• How to read the meet program
• How to mark your swimmer
• How the Heating Area works
• What Timers and Stroke & Turn Judges do
• What volunteer positions are and how to sign up for them
• Q&A session

We know it’s a busy weekend as we head into the final week of school but we hope you can join us!
